Obsecro Te is Latin for "I beseech thee". Several years ago I was at a place in my life where I was very depressed, as a Christian, about the gospel. I was confused and questioning, and very very lost. I almost wanted to die, just so I could know for sure, if all this is real or not. I was reading through the Bible, trying to make sense of it, and at that time I came across Jonah chapter 2, and it stuck with me. It was very much how I felt at that time. "3 For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; And the floods compassed me about: All thy billows and thy waves passed over me. 4 Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; Yet I will look again toward thy holy temple. 5 The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: The depth closed me round about, The weeds were wrapped about my head."
